Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship?

We currently ship within the United States.

At this time, we do not offer international shipping.

How long does shipping take?

We offer 2-business-day U.S. shipping for eligible SUNGUARD UMBRELLAS orders after shipment.

Order processing time is separate from shipping transit time. Most orders are processed quickly, and orders placed before the daily cut-off time may be processed for same-business-day fulfillment when available.

Delivery estimates may be affected by weather conditions, holidays, carrier delays, remote delivery locations, incorrect addresses, or other circumstances outside our control.

Which shipping carrier do you use?

We use trusted U.S. shipping carriers such as FedEX or other approved carriers depending on the product, delivery address, product size, product weight, and carrier availability.

Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order has shipped and the carrier has scanned the package, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information.

Please allow time for tracking information to update after the shipping label is created.

Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Some carriers and oversized products cannot be delivered to PO Boxes.

For patio umbrellas, cantilever umbrellas, umbrella bases, and other large or heavy products, a valid residential or commercial street address may be required.

What happens if my package is delayed?

Shipping carriers may occasionally experience delays caused by weather, holidays, high shipping volume, operational disruptions, remote delivery routes, or address issues.

If your tracking has not updated for an extended period, please contact us with your order number and tracking number so we can assist you.

Are umbrella bases included with every umbrella?

Not always. Some umbrellas may include a cross base, while others require a compatible weighted base sold separately.

Please review each product description carefully before purchase. If a base is not listed as included, it should be purchased separately.

How do I choose the right umbrella base?

The correct base depends on the umbrella size, pole diameter, umbrella type, surface, and outdoor conditions.

For best results:

  • Use a base that matches the umbrella pole diameter.
  • Use heavier bases for larger umbrellas.
  • Use compatible weight panels for cantilever or offset umbrellas.
  • Place the base on a flat, stable surface.
  • Close the umbrella during windy weather or when unattended.

Are SUNGUARD UMBRELLAS products windproof?

No outdoor umbrella should be considered fully windproof. Weighted bases, vented canopies, and reinforced frames can help improve stability, but they do not make an umbrella safe for strong wind or severe weather.

Always close the umbrella during strong wind, storms, heavy rain, or when unattended.

How do I know if a replacement canopy will fit my umbrella?

Before buying a replacement canopy, please measure your existing umbrella frame carefully.

Check the following:

  • Umbrella size
  • Canopy shape
  • Rib count
  • Rib length
  • Top opening size
  • Umbrella style, such as market, cantilever, offset, square, round, or rectangular

Replacement canopies are not universal for all umbrellas. If the rib count, rib length, or frame style does not match, the canopy may not fit properly.

Are solar LED umbrellas battery powered?

Solar LED umbrellas use a solar panel to charge the light system during sunlight exposure. Charging performance may vary depending on sunlight, weather, season, placement, and battery condition.

For best results, place the umbrella where the solar panel receives direct sunlight and keep the panel clean.

Care & Safety

How should I care for my patio umbrella?

Clean the canopy with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth when needed. Allow the canopy to air dry completely before closing or storing.

Close and secure the umbrella when not in use, and store it indoors or use a protective cover during extended periods of non-use.

How should I care for an umbrella base?

Wipe the base with mild soap, water, and a soft cloth. For fillable bases, check caps regularly and empty the base before long-term storage when recommended.

Do not drag heavy bases across delicate surfaces. Remove the umbrella before moving the base whenever possible.

Can I leave my umbrella outside all the time?

Outdoor umbrellas are designed for outdoor use, but leaving them open or exposed during severe weather may damage the product.

Close the umbrella during strong wind, storms, heavy rain, snow, or when unattended. For longer product life, store the umbrella or use a protective cover during extended periods of non-use.

Returns & Refunds

What is your return policy?

We offer a 60-day return window for eligible items, starting from the date the order is delivered.

Returned products must generally be unused, in original condition, and returned according to our Return & Refund Policy.

How do I request a return?

To request a return, please contact our support team with:

  • Your order number
  • The item you would like to return
  • The reason for the return
  • Photos if the item is damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect

Our team will review your request and provide return instructions. When applicable, we may provide a Return Authorization (RA) number.

Who pays return shipping costs?

For non-defective returns, change-of-mind returns, incorrect color selection, size preference, or buyer’s remorse, customers may be responsible for return shipping costs and proper repackaging.

If the item is damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect due to a verified issue, SUNGUARD UMBRELLAS LLC may provide a prepaid return label, replacement parts, replacement product, or refund when appropriate.

When will I receive my refund?

Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–7 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

Your bank, card issuer, or payment provider may require additional time to post the refund to your account.
